Monthly Meetings are held at Cedars Bar, Salisbury Golf Centre. Skew Bridge, Wilton road, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP29NY.

On every third Tuesday unless otherwise stated on the Club Calander. Starts approx 8.00pm .

July meeting. Very good turnout for the annual BBQ. perfect weather, lots to eat. Big thank you to Jade and mark for cooking, Lynne for the onions and all that helped with the sides, Also thank you to all that made the effort to bring a vintage vehicle for all to see. next meeting will be 14th august, second tue. your GDSF passes should be here for collection then.


Sept Meeting. Average turnout for a quiet evening. Firstly. A big thank you to all that attended and helped at this years GDSF. Another great display. Dont forget the sortout next month 13th oct. All being well if we can book the date, the xmas dinner will be at the Swan . Next months meeting will include a quiz by dan and myself. 


Oct meeting.  another average turnout for the swaps quiz, this time questions by Dan and Kev. in total 35 questions. Top team on the night was vicky and Frank, followed by Mathew and Geoffrey, and in third, Simon.  The xmas menus were handed out by vicky, they need to be returned ASAP please.  next month is the clubs AGM. if you fancy having your say within the club. please put your name forward .   

Somersets Festival of Transport  24/25th Sept 2016.  This weekend 9 members of SWAPS received "Best in show" cup for their exhibit at this years Festival of Transport near Wincanton.  The collection was organised by Dan and we were given our own corner of the show ground to display are farm and forest display.  

South Wiltshire Agricultural Preservation Society After the 2017 AGM we had a open dissuasion regarding the running of a SWAPS open day at the Salisbury livestock market early next year. The feedback and support from the members present was very positive.So as soon as we have a available date from the market we will let you all know. Hopefully it will be march-April before you all go rallying. It will be free to the public with the use of the canteen and the toilets. So come on. we are looking for displays, tractors, cars, motorcycles, stationary engines, rural crafts, working or static. All members welcome.


The club receive an invite to exhibit at The Great Dorset Steam Fair each year. This is the largest event of its type in Europe and runs for 5 days following the August bank holiday. The club enters under the banner of FARM and FOREST and have many working exhibits on show in the open as well as in the marque. Entry forms for this event are available from Rob Mullins (club member)  Being a club member does not automatically entitle you to exhibit. All entry's will be considered by the committee and GDSF appointed staff. Due to health and safety rules , no entrant under the age of 14 can be excepted.
